Alumina provides a stable ceramic base for heated sensing films, curing cycles and temperature-dependent electrical studies.
Electrically insulating
High bulk resistivity helps isolate the patterned electrodes so changes in the sensing layer remain the focus of the measurement.
Mechanically rigid
A compact ceramic format tolerates handling, probing and integration where thin glass may be less convenient.
